OBITUARY Alyce Krusemeier May 10, 1935 – December 30, 2018 Alyce Mae Krusemeier died peacefully at home after battling a long illness. She was survived by best friend and caregiver, Jan Galster, Son, Dan (Denice) Krusemeier, Rockford, Daughters, Lynn (Frank) Mioni, Kansas, Mindy Krusemeier, California, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her parents Fay and Alfrida (Gulbrandsen) Harris, brothers Fay and Ron, sisters, Pauline and Fran and Son, Robert Krusemeier.

She worked at Mid City Stationers for 25 years. Jan and Alyce started AJ Business Services in 1993. She was a graduate of West High School in 1953.

She attended Alpine Lutheran Church and was in the bell choir, church choir, church counsel and several committees. She also served on the Steering Committee to start Alpine Academy. She was a Board Member of Thrivent Financial.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 3,2019 from 5-7pm at Sunset Funeral home, 8800 N. Alpine Rd. Machesney Park 61115. The funeral service will be Held Friday, January 4,2019 at 10am at the funeral home.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Northern IL Hospice, and Alpine Lutheran Church.
