Ancelmo’s Obituary Ancelmo Guerrero, 71, of Olton, died Monday, March 18, 2019, in Plainview. Rosary will be said at 5:00 PM, Wednesday, March 20, 2019, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Olton. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Thursday, March 21, 2019, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church with Fr.

Martin Pena officiating. Interment will follow at Olton Cemetery under the direction of Ramage Funeral Directors. Ancelmo was born June 26, 1947, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, to Silvano and Lionidez (Martinez) Guerrero.

On February 21, 1971, he married Andrea Vega and they moved to Olton in 1991 from Hart. A cowboy and a farmer, Ancelmo loved taking walks and staying active. A member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Ancelmo loved his church and it’s members.

He had a way of making everyone feel special. His family and especially his grandchildren were his joy in life. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Andrea Guerrero of Olton, his son, Jimmy Guerrero and his wife Julia of Olton, five daughters, Angie Gomez and her husband Evodio of Olton, Yolanda Leos and her husband Randy of Littlefield, Elena Guerrero of Anton, Maribel Espinoza and her husband Francisco of Lubbock and Lorena Gomez and her husband, Ruben of Lubbock, three brothers, Juan Guerrero, Benito Guerrero, and Leonardo Guerrero, all of Olton, and four sisters, Maria Gomez of San Antonio, Ignacia Reyna of Hart, Andrea Cruz of Austin, and Carmela Almendarez of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. He was blessed with thirteen grandchildren.
