Angela C. (Rotola) Catalano, 96, resident of Clark Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Clark, NJ; former long-time resident of Elizabeth, NJ, passed away on October 17, 2019. Viewing will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2 to 4 ad 7 to 9 PM at Higgins and Bonner Echo Lake Funeral Home, 582 Springfield Ave, Westfield. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, October 22, 2018 at 10:00AM at Holy Trinity RC Church in Westfield.

Interment will follow at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Colonia. Mrs. Catalano was born on November 22, 1921 in Archbald, Pennsylvania. She worked as a hairdresser in Elizabeth for many years as well as lunch room aide at Brookside School in Cranford until the age 86.

Mrs. Catalano is predeceased by her husband, Rocco A. Catalano, her parents, Louis and Santa Rotola brothers, Dominick Aricchi, Patsy Rotola, Joseph Rotola and Francis Rotola and her sister, Virginia LaMastra. She was a devoted mother to children, Thomas V. Catalano (Linda) and Margaret A. Cilia (Joseph), cherished grandmother of grandchildren, David Catalano, Michael J. Cilia (Kathyrn), Rebekah Scicolone (Michael) and Andrew Catalano and great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Angela and Nicole Marie Cilia, dear sister of brothers, Santo Rotola (Teresa) and Louis Rotola (Phyllis) and sister Ann Marie Green. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
