Mr. Angus Tolbert, Jr. 78, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018. Mr. Tolbert was born July 24, 1940 in Jackson County to the late Angus Tolbert, Sr. and Faye Hooper Tolbert. He worked and retired from Hoest-Celanese Manufacturing; was of the Christian faith; and he loved to fish whenever he got the chance.

Survivors include his son, William Scott Tolbert of Midland, NC; a grandson, Patrick Tolbert of Midland, NC; two sisters, Anna Rose Tolbert and Betty Jean Tolbert; and two brothers, Jerry Tolbert and Bruce Tolbert.
