Ann E. Johnson, 80, of Honeycreek, passed away Saturday, September, 22, 2018 at her home. Born in Afton, Wyoming on February 28, 1938, she was the daughter of Otis and Treace (nee Edwards) Eggleston. She spent her early life in Grover, Wyoming and graduated from Afton High School.

In 1958 in Winnemucca, Nevada, she was united in marriage to Vernon Johnson. Following marriage, they resided in Salt Lake City for 10 years, moving again later to Winnemucca and then to St. George. … Read More » They were married for over 60 years.

Ann has been a resident of Honeycreek for 20 years. She worked at Personally Yours Nursing Home as a caregiver, and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Elkhorn. Ann enjoyed quilting, crocheting, sewing, knitting and made many pieces of clothing.

Ann is survived by her husband, Louis; children, Vern (Cindy) Johnson, Louann (Tony) M., Charles Johnson, Ivan (Kelly) Johnson and Rex (Tonia) Johnson; eighteen grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two sisters and two brothers. She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Lynn Johnson and Grant Johnson, 1 sister and 3 brothers. The family would like to thank Ann’s church family – The Ladies of Relief Society and the entire Mormon Church, and Melody from Personally Yours Nursing Home for always being a great friend to Ann.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association. Services for Ann will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home with Bishop Becker presiding. Relatives and friends may visit with the family before the service from 9 AM to 10:30 AM.
