She spent most of her childhood with her grandma Millie Olson and dad Robert Severson. Her favorite memory of high school was being the high school football manager. She also belonged to the local FHA chapter.

She graduated from Plentywood High School in 1987. She briefly attended college in Spokane, WA. She returned to Plentywood in 1989 where her family started with the birth of McKenzie.

She had 3 more daughters, Haley (1990), Millicent (1992), and Whitney (1999). Annie devoted her life to provide for her girls, often working more than one job at a time. She had a very strong work ethic and she took pride in being a great bartender.

While living in Plentywood, she loved spending time with her family, going to the lake, and being apart of a bowling league. Annie and her girls moved to Williston in 2007. She became a gramma in 2009.

Being a gramma inspired her to begin making hair bows. With bows by the hundreds, she started to sell them at crafts shows. Ann was also talented at crocheting hats and blankets.

She worked at Hose and Rubber for 9 years and for the last two years she dispatched for Halliburton, her favorite job yet. You would always see her with a Mountain Dew and a Marlboro Red. She always loved crime shows, especially Dateline.

Her other hobbies included camping, fishing, and collecting seashells and agates. Anyone who knew her even slightly could not miss what a quality human being she was. She loved her kids and grandbabies with all of her being.

There was no denying that Annie would go without to make sure everyone else was taken care of. Her greatest legacy was being a mom and teaching her kids to be strong independent women. She shared a special bond with each one of her grandkids.

Annie faced many battles. A mass was observed on her neck at 9 months old. She had 13 surgeries before kindergarten.

She was treated for a rare form of cancer at age 17, her senior year of high school. After many years of remission she was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2009, and breast cancer in 2014. A mass in her neck lead to the diagnosis of a rare cancer in 2015.

In 2018 the cancer had spread throughout her body. With every diagnosis she always remained positive and knew she would fight with all that she had. She had no room for negativity.

Even at the end she fought and held on as long as she could for her girls and grandbabies. Ann Marie Delfino 49, passed away peacefully at her home in Williston on January 13, 2019 as she was held by her four daughters and three lifelong friends and with the sound of tranquil ocean waves in the background. Annie is survived by her four daughters McKenzie, Haley, Millicent (Adam), Whitney, and several grandchildren.
