Anna (nee Radecka) Glodawa, 88, of Clifton passed away on November 23, 2018. Born in Kacwin, Poland, Mrs. Glodawa lived in Poland before coming to the United States on January 15, 1976, settling initially in Passaic before then moving to Clifton in 1995. Prior to retiring, she had been employed as a Housekeeper at Passaic General Hospital for twenty years.

She was a parishioner of Ss. Cyril and Methodius RC Church in Clifton and had helped with the bingo nights there in the past. Mrs. Glodawa was predeceased by her beloved husband, Jozef Glodawa, Sr. in 2012; by a son, Jozef Glodawa, Jr. in 2008; and by her sister Maria and brother Andzej.

She is survived by her two devoted children: John Glodawa of Clifton and Josephine Afonso and her husband, Manuel, also of Clifton; and five cherished grandchildren: Joanna Afonso, Michael Afonso, Christina Afonso, Manuel Afonso, Jr. and Dmitry. Visiting will be Monday from 4-8 pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 515 Lexington Avenue, Clifton. Funeral Tuesday 9:15 am from the funeral home and 10:00 am at Ss.

Cyril & Methodius RC Church, 218 Ackerman Avenue, Clifton. Entombment to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery Mausoleum, Saddle Brook. The family requests that flowers please be omitted and instead that an offering for a mass to be said in memory of their mother be considered.
