Obituary of Anna Gulden Mrs. Anna M. (Bushick) Gulden, 80, of Tamaqua, passed away on Sunday evening, June 17, 2018 at St. Luke’s Miners Memorial Hospital, Coaldale. Born November 4, 1937 in Pottsville, PA, she was the daughter of the late Anna (Driggan) and Stanley Bushick. Her husband of 30 years, Donald J. Gulden, passed away on July 18, 1988.

Anna was a housewife, spending many years raising and caring for her children. She later worked as a bartender at the Tamaqua American Legion Post #173 and the Keystone Fish and Hunt Club, Tamaqua where she also held memberships. In addition, she tended bar at Quakake Volunteer Fire Company.

Anna was a member of St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Tamaqua and a 1956 graduate of Mahanoy Township High School. Anna loved puzzles, scratch off lottery tickets, her trips to the casinos and playing games on her tablet. Most of all, Anna loved her daughters, her son and her granddaughter.

Anna is survived by her children, Debora A. (Gulden) Digilio, wife of Nicholas C. Digilio, Coaldale, Joseph D. Gulden, fiance of Deborah Wall, Barnesville and Catherine (Gulden) Runkle, wife of Keith J. Runkle, Lebanon, PA. She is survived by her granddaughter, Danyelle M. Budd, wife of Gerard N. Budd, Coaldale, her sister, Margaret Kaczmarczyk, Wilkes-Barre, and many nieces and nephews. Anna was preceded in death by her son, Donald J. Gulden Jr. and her siblings, Phyllis Hopkins, Loretta Royak, John Bushick and Eugene Bushick.

Funeral Services for Anna will be held on Friday, June 22, 2018 at 11:00 am at Zizelmann Gulla Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 500 E. Broad St, Tamaqua. Burial will follow at St. Casimir Catholic Cemetery, Mahanoy City. A viewing will be held Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at the funeral home.
