OBITUARY Anne Bain Gear January 7, 1933 – January 23, 2019 High Point- Anne Bain Gear, age 86, passed away on Wednesday January 23, 2019 surrounded by her family. Anne was born January 7, 1933 in High Point to Robert and Eunice Bain. She formally attended Wesley Memorial UMC where she was active in the choir.

Anne was passionate about family, music, animals and helping people. She was proceeded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Gear; parents and brother, Bob Bain. Anne is survived by her daughters, Brookshire “Brooks” G. Yelton (Bill) and Melanie G. Jackson (Scott); grandchildren, Bain Yelton (Tiffany), Brittany Yelton, Monte Jackson and Tyler Jackson; and great-grandchildren, Sydney Yelton and London Yelton (expected in April).

A visitation for Anne will be held Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Sechrest Funeral Service of High Point, 1301 E. Lexington Ave. , High Point, NC 27262. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Ruff Love Rescue, PO Box 2013, Thomasville, NC 27261 and the Alzheimer’s Association, P.O. Box 96011, Washington, Washington, D.C. 20090.
