At the age of 92 years, Anne (Honey) Trahan passed peacefully with family by her side on Monday, December 17, 2018. She was born in Fowlerville on June 12, 1926, was adopted by Frank and Isabelle (Tanner) DeBold, and has resided in Bay City most of her life. Anne was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and a warm, generous friend.

Anne attended Maryville University in St. Louis, MO, where she earned a degree in Social Work and after graduation, worked for Catholic Services.

In addition to her membership at St. Joseph Parish, she was a lifelong member of Bay City Country Club, Garden Club, Saginaw Club, Bay Valley Tennis Club, was in the PTA at Holy Rosary Academy, and a swim coach for the YMCA. She was an avid bridge player for the last 60 years and loved to play with many groups. A truly vibrant woman: it is hard to imagine a world without Honey!

On September 25, 1948, Anne was united in marriage to Patrick J. Trahan, Sr. and they shared their lives together for over 24 years until his death on July 25, 1974. Surviving family members include eight children, Martha McCafferty, Mary Ellen Trahan (special friend, Loretta Griffin), Patrick (Anne) Trahan, Isa Trahan, Christopher Trahan, Elizabeth Trahan, Rosemary Cipriano, and James Trahan; grandchildren, Ryland Trahan (Leslie), Gratia Lee (Bill), Ariel Trahan, Glenn Patrick Harris (Ashleigh Wisser), Kaitlin Harris (Jeff Cleanthes), Dallas J. Trahan, Connor Trahan, Lindsay Trahan, Salvatore Cipriano, Tanner Cipriano, Tucker Cipriano, and Isabella Cipriano; along with great grandchildren, Elliot, Jude, and Clementine. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her sister, Mary Jeanne DeBold and a son-in-law, Robert Cipriano.

“A special heartfelt thank you is extended to McLaren Hospice and “Anne’s Angels” for all their loving care and support”. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, December 27, 2018 at 2:00 PM at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel, 256 N. Madison at Tenth Street, Bay City, MI. Pastor Joseph Atchinson will officiate and entombment will be at Oakwood Mausoleum, Saginaw.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the Cipriano Childrens Trust Fund (www. ciprianochildrenstrust.org). Visiting hours are Thursday from 12:00 PM until the time of service at the Trahan Chapel.
