Barbara Pauline “Queenie” Gardner, age 97, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2018. She was born on July 19, 1921 to the late John Edward Hibbert and Mary Jane Kenny Hibbert. She is the beloved wife of the late Herbert Kenneth Gardner; devoted mother of Barbara Ann Gardner Merrill and her late husband John Sanborn Merrill; cherished grandmother of Patricia Ann Merrill Ferren; loving great grandmother of Christina Marie Ferren, Dustin E. Ferren, and Megan Hope Weaver; dear aunt of Geneva Gardner, Robert Gardner, and Angela Gardner.

Queenie is preceded in death by her sisters Mary, Mabel, and Lavelle. A viewing will be held at Little Sisters of the Poor on Friday from 9-11am followed by a funeral mass at 11am. Burial will take place at Meadowridge Memorial Park.
