Anne Ellen Crowder Proctor, 81 of Sanford passed away Friday October 12, 2018. Arrangements are incomplete at this time. Mrs. Proctor was born in Gulfport, MS, daughter of the late William Napoleon Crowder and Annie Mae Dunn Crowder.

She was a member of St Luke United Methodist Church and a 1959 Graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Mrs. Proctor is survived by her son, Frank E. Proctor and wife Ellen of Hong Kong; a granddaughter, May Lee Proctor; and a brother, Bob Crowder. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to St Luke United Methodist Church, 2916 Wicker Street, Sanford, NC 27330.
