Ralph Herbert Fields, 88 of Winston Salem, formerly of Sanford passed away Thursday November 1, 2018. Service arrangements will be announced. Mr. Fields was born in Sanford, a son of the late Graham Salmon Fields and Beulah McDonald Fields.

Mr. Fields was a longtime member of First Baptist Church Sanford, a retired Rural Letter Carrier with the Post Office and a former member of the Sanford Lions Club. He was preceded in death by his brother, William Warren Fields. Mr. fields is survived by his wife of 60 years, Clara Lee Hare Fields; daughters, Elizabeth Rose “Beth” Fields, and Suzanne F. Jones and husband Chuck; sister, Mary Fields Johnson.
