Anne Kilko Larussa, 90, of Denton, Texas passed away on January 18, 2019. Anne was born in Cleveland, Ohio on June 24, 1928 to Peter and Elizabeth Kilko. Anne was a first generation American – as both her parents had immigrated from Romania On June 23, 1951, Anne married John Larussa.

They met while working for the same company in Cleveland. Moving for John’s job, they lived in Kentucky, Illinois and settled in Texas in 1976. For many years, they worked together at the same companies – often in the same office.

They were married for 39 years, until John passed away in 1990. In 1991, Anne moved from Terrell, Texas to Dallas, Texas. She became a member of Prestonwood Baptist Church and was active in their many volunteer activities.

In 2007, Anne moved to Denton to be closer to her grandchildren. She was a member for First Baptist Church of Denton. Anne is survived by her three children, Jim of Dallas, Texas; Tom (Donna) of Sanger, Texas and Dianne Beth of Denton.

She is also survived by 5 grandchildren: Raegan, Haley, Micah, Abigail and Gabrielle and one brother, Aurle Kilko of Huntsburg, Ohio. Anne is preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister Lydia and 3 brothers, George, John and Syia. Memorial donations can be made in lieu of flowers to First Baptist Church of Denton, TX Building Fund, World Vision Ministries or a charity of your choice.
