Anne Elizabeth Lucas, loving and cherished wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, died peacefully at home on February 20, 2019, in Flower Mound, Texas. She was 60 years old. Anne was born on August 29, 1958 to Bill and Ginny Stimson, in Germantown, Tennessee.

She spent the first couple years of her life there. When she was two, the family moved to Dallas, Texas. Anne was an active member of the Girl Scouts, sang in the honors choir, and spent two years performing in Drill Team.

She graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School and went on to double major in Spanish and Management at Texas A&M University. She then began her work career as an executive assistant with Mexicana airlines. She went on to work for The Dallas Museum of Art, Simuflight, GE, and most recently, Marvin F. Poer and Company.

It was while she was working for GE, in 2002, that she was given a 3-year assignment in the United Kingdom. She became an active member of the village of Warnham, where she lived. She served at St. Margaret’s Episcopal Church where she met her husband, Andrew Stephen Lucas.

Anne and Andrew were married in Dallas, in 2003. They moved to Chicago for five years before returning in 2008 and settling in Flower Mound. Anne loved her family very much.

She is survived by her niece and nephews and their families: Stephen and Jamie Stimson of Waco, Texas; Tish and Joey Hudson of Marshall, TX; Nathan and Stephany Stimson of Albuquerque, New Mexico. She is loved dearly by 10 great nieces and nephews. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Ginny, her brother, Stewart, and her husband, Andrew.

Services for Anne will be held at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Dallas, Texas, on Monday, February 25, 2019 at 11:30am. The Lucas family will also observe a memorial service at the parish church of St. Margaret’s in Warnham upon return to England.
