Grace Louise (Kidd) Mills age 95 passed away February 06, 2019 in Eufaula, Oklahoma. Grace is survived by her sons Thomas Mills and his wife Patsy of Lake Dallas, Texas and Richard Mills and his wife Joann of Eufaula, Oklahoma. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, four great-grandsons, two great-great-grandchildren and brother Harry Lee Kidd and his wife Virginia of Watauga, Texas.

Grace was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years Robert Mills, daughter Patricia Proffitt and sisters Catherine Cochran and Betty Helter. Grace was born March 02, 1923 in Martins Ferry, Ohio to Harry and Margaret Kidd. During World War II Grace was part of the “Rosie the Riveter” movement working at Patterson Field as a quality control officer for airplane parts in Dayton, Ohio.

It was in Dayton she met Robert while at an ice cream parlor with a friend. They married shortly after the war was over. Grace like to hand embroider quilts and loved reading romance books and doing word search puzzles.

She enjoyed the special companionship of her dogs, Tony, Queenie, Candy and Rosie. The family will receive visitors at Dalton & Son Funeral Home, 1550 North Stemmons Freeway, Lewisville, TX 75067, from 6:30-8:30 on Thursday, February 14, 2019. Graveside Service will be at Old Hall Cemetery in Lewisville, TX at 10:30 on Friday, February 15, 2019.
