William Dale “Billy” Tisdale, died peacefully in his home on March 18, 2019. He was born in Springhill, LA to Winfred R and Elvie M. Tisdale. Preceded in death by his parents and brother Ronald W. “Sonny” Tisdale of Springhill, LA.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years Wilda W. Tisdale of Flower Mound, TX; two sons, Rodrick Lane Tisdale and wife Stephanie and grandson Steven Cole Tisdale of Denton, TX; William Ashley Tisdale and wife Kristi and granddaughter Miranda Leanne of Flower Mound, TX; sister-in-law, Pauline C Tisdale of Shreveport, LA and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. William was a proud veteran serving in the United States Air Force. He was a member of the Dallas #760 Masonic Lodge, Dallas, TX and The Order of the First Families of Mississippi.

Retired from Lucent Technologies after 33 years. Working for Lucent Technologies gave him the opportunity to travel all over the world and the Continental United States. He loved travel and his passion of playing golf.

Upon retiring from Lucent Technologies, he worked part-time for Enterprise Car Rental for 12 years. Visitation will be from 5:00pm to 7:00pm, on Thursday, March 21 at Flower Mound Family Funeral Home, funeral services to follow at 7:00pm. Interment with Full Military Honors will be at 9:30am at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, TX 75211.

Acknowledgement: We would like to thank Dr. Anil Bhogaraju, M.D.; Dr. Charles P. Lee, M.D.; Texas Oncology Nursing Staff and Aspen Healthcare and Hospice Services of Lewisville, TX for your exceptional care. We are so grateful for the care provided by our home health nurses: Sabina, Jenna, Kat, Amy, Sunday, Brittany and Dee; you made our final days with Bill comfortable and joy filled.
