Obituary for Anne Fineran (Tahin Yangli Wajin Win) Anne Margaret (Around Him) Fineran “Tahin Yangli Wajin Win”, was born on January 3, 1921 at home in Porcupine, SD to John Around Him, Sr. and Emily Iron Cloud. Anne made her journey to the Spirit World on July 8, 2018 at the Avera Heart Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD. Anne served on many boards around the Pine Ridge area since 1975.

Among those were the School Board, Personnel Board, College Board, Housing Board, Ethics Board, and the Health Board until she retired in 2004. Anne is survived by her spouse of 64 years, Dale Fineran of Allen, SD; children, Martin Fineran of Castle Rock, CO, Myron Fineran, Milton Fineran, and Marlin Fineran all of Allen, SD, and Terrial Fineran of Winner, SD; and numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Anne was preceded in death by her parents, John Around Him, Sr. and Emily Iron Cloud; brothers, George Iron Cloud and John Around Him, Jr.; and sisters, Elizabeth Around Him and Dora Around Him Young Dog.

Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 1:00 PM, Sunday, July 15, 2018 at the Porcupine School Gym in Porcupine, SD with evening services starting at 7:00 PM at the school gym.
