Catherine is survived by her husband, Kenneth Standing Soldier of Pine Ridge, SD; mother, Catherine Jealous of Him of Pine Ridge, SD; brother, Albert Jealous of Him of Allen, SD; and special grandson, Orlando Black Hawk.

Catherine was preceded in death by her father, Antwane Martinez; sisters, Naomi Jealous of Him, Rebecca Last Horse, and Shirley Jealous of Him; auntie, Ruth Swimmer; and cousins, Carol Gay and Nora Gay. Pallbearers will be K.P. Standing Soldier, Albert Jealous of Him, Taylor Bongo, Frankie Rogers, Robin Martin, Brian Lee Herrald, Calvin Pumpkin Seed, Orlando Black Hawk, and Deondre Black Hawk. Honorary pallbearers will be Lois Slow Bear, Olive Toledo, Patty Good Crow, Lucille Black Feather, Betty & Abel Red Bird, Richard & Arvella Moves Camp, Mavis Wilcox & Family, Charlotte Bad Cob & Family, Marvis Bad Cob & Family, Linda Marshall & Family, Sam & Sandra Pretty Bear & Family, Herman Standing Bear & Family, and All Friends & Relatives.

Wake Services: One night wake service starting at 3:30 PM, Sunday, September 9, 2018 at the Wanblee CAP Office in Wanblee, SD with Rosary services at 7:00 PM, Sunday evening at the CAP Office.
