Anne Rountree Eyster June 16, 1928 – February 19, 2019 Share this obituary Send Flowers Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Anne Rountree Eyster died at her home Tuesday, February 19, 2019. She was born June 16, 1928 to Dr. Walter Scott Rountree and Martha Bradshaw Rountree of Birmingham, Alabama. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Charles Harris Eyster Jr., also her sisters, Elizabeth Rountree Early, Jean Rountree Cox and Peggy Rountree Stockham.

She is survived by her daughter Margaret Eyster Fite (Larry) and three grandchildren, William Charles Fite, Anne Eliza Fite Todd (Clark) and Evelyn Blackwell Fite. Visitation will be Thursday February 21, 2019 from noon until 2:00pm at the home of Larry and Margaret Fite. Funeral service will follow at 2:30pm at St. John’s Episcopal Church with Reverend Tom Crittenden officiating.

Burial will follow at Decatur City Cemetery. Hartselle Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family.
