Burial will be in Hartselle City Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, February 13, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.

Ms. Grove died on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Cullman USA Health Care Center. She was born July 23, 1926, in Jefferson County to Walter Melvin Black and Bertha Francis Hipp Black. She was a employed by Sears and Roebuck in Retail Sales prior to her retirement.

She enjoyed gardening, knitting, painting, reading and watching birds. She loved her friends and was a memer of the First United Methodist Church, where she was involved in the prayer shawl ministry. Mostly she loved her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers: Marvin, Melvin, Monte and Meredith Black. Survivors include: One Son: David Grove (Cindy) One Daughter: Lisa Lane (Greg) Six Grandchildren Pallbearers will be Family and Friends. Peck Funeral Home 1600 Hwy 31 SW P.O.
