Annie Ruth Fowler Sprouse May 29, 1934 – January 02, 2019 Local Florists Sign Guestbook| Send Private Condolences| Send Sympathy Card Annie Sprouse Spartanburg, SC – Annie Ruth Fowler Sprouse, 84, of 1320 Old Pacolet Road, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at her residence. Born in Gaffney, she was the widow of the late Oliver Dean Sprouse, Sr. and daughter of the late Wheeler Fowler and Janie Arrowwood Fowler. She retired from textiles and was a member of Love Springs Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Oliver Dean (Buck) Sprouse, Jr. and wife, Theresa of Spartanburg; a grandson raised in the home, Terry D. Martin and wife, Nikki of Spartanburg; two daughters, Sandra Elliott and husband, Paul of Forest City, NC and Mary Gossett and husband, Ken of Jonesville; two brothers, Jimmy Fowler and wife, Pat of Gaffney and Harold Fowler of Cowpens; two sisters, Lucille Peahuff and Sarah Hutchins, both of Spartanburg; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son, James Sprouse, a granddaughter, Maria Sprouse, six brothers and two sisters. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:00 PM on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Love Springs Baptist Church.

Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM at the Church with Rev. Ron Culbertson officiating. Interment will be in Daniel Morgan Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Love Springs Baptist Church, 107 Spring Hills Road, Cowpens, SC 29330. The family will be at the residence, 1320 Old Pacolet Road, Spartanburg. An online guest register is available at www.
