She is preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Whitfield, both her parents and seven siblings; Otha Stewart, Thelma Nash, Mable Stewart, Catherine Stewart, Cleol Riley, Ophelia Stewart, Eva Mae Stewart, Mildred Lewis and Norah Stewart Jr

She leaves to cherish her precious memories, six children; Vernard Whitfield, Criss Brewer, Anthony Whitfield, Thomas Whitfield, Daniel Hamp and Tyrone Campbell, three siblings; Sam Stewart, Emma Stewart and Robert Cotton, nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and a host of nieces nephews family and friends.
