OBITUARY Anthony Dale LaFrenier March 2, 2002 – December 11, 2018 On Tuesday, December 11th, 2018, Anthony Dale LaFrenier, age 16 of Mobile, Alabama, passed from this life after a hard fought battle with traumatic brain injury. Anthony was a light and a rock for all who knew him. His caring, loving, and giving attitude, and his fighting spirit inspired many.

He was a warrior. Anthony was a student at W.P. Davidson High School, the Academics Officer and a C/MCPO with their Navy JROTC staff, and a Sergeant with the Mobile County Sheriff’s Department Explorer Program. He was welcomed into the next life by his beloved Grandma Debbie.

He is survived by his parents Anthony and Tina LaFrenier and Mark and Beth Jones, as well as his twin brother Jack LaFrenier and siblings Sarah LaFrenier, Hanah LaFrenier, Clancy (Ben) Nehls, Kelli (Jacob) Bonasera, Jacob Jones, and Ryan (Emily) Unsworth. He also leaves behind his grandparents Tim Brazell, Cindy and David Sawyer, and Tony and Dolly LaFrenier, as well as his great-grandmother Elba Haver. Many grieving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, including his second family by choice, the Trejos, mourn his loss.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in his memory to Warfighter Engaged, a non-profit organization dedicated to serving severely injured and disabled veterans. We all remain #teamAnthony. Services are pending at this time.
