Anthony Faresich, 71, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away peacefully Monday, February 25, 2019. He was born to the late Frances and Anthony Faresich on March 29, 1947 in Jersey City, NJ. Before moving to Vero Beach, Tony and his beloved partner of 25 years, Barbara Rose, lived in Milford, CT.

He received his BS in Teaching from Jersey City State Teachers College and taught emotionally, maladjusted students for a time. Then, he became the owner and operator of Newford Elevator Company in Bronx, NY for 30 years, followed becoming the owner and operator of Reliant Home Inspections in Milford, CT. Tony was also an active member of the Vero Beach Power Squadron where he served as Administrative Officer.

In Connecticut, he served on the Board of Directors for Caswell Cove Marina in Milford. He is survived by his best friend and beloved partner, Barbara Rose of Vero Beach, FL; his sister, Frances Cardinali and her husband, Charles of Dagsboro, Delaware; his niece, Dorothy Mastropaolo and her husband, Joseph of Lodi, NJ and his grandnieces, Maria, Joanna and Antonia Romano and her husband, Michael of Moonachie, NJ. Tony is also survived by his dearest friends and traveling buddies, Marilyn Gizzi and her husband, John of North Salem, NY and Vero Beach, FL.

Tony was an avid sailor and passionate cook. One could always count on him for a laugh, a warm hug and a friendly ear. Tony embraced life to its fullest and will be extremely missed by all who knew him.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Friday, March 1, 2019 with a Prayer Service to be held at 6:30 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 2, 2019 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach. Interment will take place in New Jersey.
