Anthony J. Alvarez Age 21, of Richton Park, IL passed away suddenly on Tuesday, February 12, 2019. Born on July 14, 1997 in Joliet, IL to Melissa A. Weeks and Joseph A. Alvarez. He attended Reed-Custer High School in Braidwood, IL and was employed at General Mills in Wilmington, IL.

Anthony lived a life through simple pleasures including chatting with family and friends, sports and most of all spending time with his daughter. Surviving are his mother, Melissa A. Weeks; father, Joseph A. (Nikki) Alvarez; daughter, Ava L. Alvarez; girlfriend, Vanessa VanDuyne; siblings, Gabriel Alvarez, Lenna Alvarez, Gia Alvarez and Geno Alvarez; maternal grandmother, Leslie Virzint (Carl Ripsky); paternal grandparents Roger and Karen Blake; great-grandfather, Robert Brow; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins as well as many friends. Preceding him in death were his grandfather, Donald W. Virzint; great-grandmother, Carol Brow; and great-grandparents, Juan and Nevis Quintero.

Visitation will be at the R.W. Patterson Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday, February 18, 2019 from 3-7 p.m. with funeral service at 7:00 p.m. Rev. Jan Chandler will officiate. Cremation rites will be accorded following services.
