Anthony M. Welch, 67, husband of Patsy Bryant Welch, died Tuesday, November 20, 2018, at his residence after an illness. Funeral services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 24, 2018, at Cornerstone Ministries, Lake City. Burial, directed by Carolina Funeral Home, Scranton, will follow at Floyds Chapel Cemetery, Lake City.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 3:00 PM, at the church prior to the services. Mr. Welch was born on November 29, 1950, in Florence County, son of the late Paul Merritt Welch and Ola Mae Coker Welch. He was a graduate of Hebron High School and was a member of Cornerstone Ministries.

Mr. Welch was the owner and operator of Welch Electric Service and was a licensed charter boat captain. Surviving are his wife, Patsy B. Welch of Lake City; sons, Ronald (Tania) Deal of Davenport, Iowa and Jerry M. (LaDonna) Welch of Lake City; granddaughter, Emilee Welch of Scranton; sister, Karen Welch (Ricky) Barnhill of Lake City.
