Anthony Izzo, Jr. August 4, 1961 – December 9, 2018 Tony Izzo, Jr. passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2018 at 8 a.m. He was born on August 4, 1961 to Anthony L. Izzo and Matilda (Alvarez) Lerma. He met his wife, Darla, when they worked at Coca-Cola in Huachuca City. They were married for 25 years.

He always wanted the best for his family. He would binge watch the Lord of the Rings and Harry Potter movies with his daughters. He loved singing with his girls; fishing and waking his girls up at the crack of dawn to get to the lake; riding his motorcycle; flying kites; and building model rockets.

He enjoyed being the life of the party. He was always making jokes, had his own nicknames for everybody, and was brutally honest. He held many jobs throughout his life.

No matter what type of job he was doing, he took great pride in his work. He is survived by his wife,Darla; their daughters – Chelsea (Frankie) Cruz, Krystal, Megan, and Teyla Izzo; his mom, his sisters – Christine (Michael) Berveiller, Maria (Michael) Alvarez Doughty; his brothers – Theo Izzo, Joey Lerma, Ruben (Tasha) Lerma; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his dad, an aunt, and several uncles.

A celebration of life was held at Hatfield Funeral Home in Sierra Vista on Saturday, December 15, 2018. The celebration was officiated by Pastor David Carns.
