Obituary of Anthony S. Conte, Jr. On Monday, March 18, 2019, Anthony (Tony) S Conte Jr., loving husband, father, grandfather, uncle and friend passed away at the age of 81 in Bardonia, New York. Tony was born on May 21,1937 in Brooklyn NY to Anthony and Mary Conte. He married his childhood sweetheart, Lucille Vazquez, on January 12, 1957 and had their only son Michael.

Tony was a successful plumbing contractor owning his own business for over 50 years. Tony’s life was full with a loving family, great friends and many passions. Everyone knows how Tony loved his pets, motorcycles, playing harmonica, creating beautiful stained glass, fishing, boating and jet skiing.

Tony and Lucille bought their dream home and eventually moved to the Florida Keys where family and friends came to visit through the years and took their legendary staircase photo. Tony is survived by his wife Lucille, son Michael, daughter-in-law Rhonda, grandsons Brandon, Corey and his fiancé Rebecca, Ryan and his wife Kaila, his beloved cockatiel Roni and many loving nieces and nephews. Tony mentored many in the wisdoms of his life and spent cherished time with everyone, especially his firstborn grandson Brandon.

Tony was pre-deceased by his parents, his brother Joseph, sister Anna, his nephew Patty-boy and his beloved pets Jingles, Nikki, Puppy and Pepper. In lieu of sending flowers, please send donations to St Peters Rebuild Fund, 31300 Overseas Highway, Big Pine FL.
