Arden’s Obituary Arden Haldeman of Topeka passed away on Monday, January 21, 2019. He was born December 16, 1941 in Wichita, Kansas the son of Atwood and Helen M. Randel Haldeman. Arden graduated from Topeka High School.

He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. He later worked at Goodyear, the State of Kansas Records Annex in North Topeka and he retired after working for Shawnee Heights USD 450 for over 20 years. He enjoyed hunting and fishing on the Randel farm in the America City area and frog gigging.

He enjoyed antiquing with his wife Janet, long before it became a popular thing to do. His two dalmatians Dot and Dewey precede him. He was married to Janet Lewis Haldeman.

Janet preceded him in death on February 20, 2013. Arden is survived by his son, Ben Haldeman and wife Roxie of Topeka; daughter, Amanda Haldeman of Topeka; two brothers, Robert Haldeman and wife Norma of Topeka and Terry Haldeman and wife Leona of Osage County; sister, Kathy Roberts and husband Pat of Topeka and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews. Cremation is planned.
