Obituary for Ardith Dozer Ardith M. (Leach) Dozer, died Monday at Westminster-Thurber Retirement Community. She was born on September 30, 1919, in Columbus, Ohio. Preceded in death by husband Carl Gene Dozer, son Gary Gene Dozer and grandson Jeffrey Owen Hackenberger.

Survived by sister, Janice (Richard) Thomas; daughters, Jyl (Jack) Anderson, Kym (Larry) Hackenberger; daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Dozer; seven grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Ardith enjoyed a long career as a bridal consultant at Lazarus, and later at Jacobsen’s, where she took great pride in helping “her brides” have a perfect wedding day. Friends and family may gather Saturday, June 16 from 4 pm until the time of service at 6 pm at Woodyard East, 2300 E. Livingston Ave.
