Jack was formerly a certified martial arts specialist. Preceded in death by: Parents: Jesse and Mary Rutherford. Wife: Esther.

Son: Daniel Lee. Brothers: Charles Rutherford, of Michigan and Jesse Rutherford Jr. Survived by: Sisters and brothers: Yolanda (Rick) Jarvis, of Columbus, Richard Rutherford, of Columbus, Judy Rutherford Maynard, of Columbus, Deanna Rutherford, of Michigan, James Rutherford, of Michigan and Sondra Taylor, of Florida. Numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, other family and friends.
