Obituary for Ronald “Deke” Ditrick Ronald “Deke” Ditrick, age 73, passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital. Born December 20, 1944 in Wheeling, WV.

Graduate of Pleasant View High School Class of 1963 and Ohio University. He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing basketball, football and golf. He was a very active and involved “Pa” to Kelsey, Grant and Adam.

He was the World’s best story teller, and friend to all. Ron loved life. Preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Chuck Ditrick.

Survived by wife of 28 years, Donna; stepdaughters, Julie (Brian) Gould and Karin (KC) Budzik; grandchildren, Kelsey Morris, Grant Gould and Adam Budzik; great grandson, Hudson Morris; sister-in-law, Elaine (Tom) Brengelman; brother-in-law, David (Trish) Sirkoski; numerous nieces, nephews and many close friends. Friends may call Thursday, June 14, 2018 from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1 p.m. at the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME, 587 Main St. in Groveport, OH. Interment to follow at Sunset Cemetery, Galloway, OH.
