Arlene G. Rubis, age 89, died Saturday, November 10, 2018 at McLaren-Bay Region with her family by her side. She was born on October 20, 1929 to the late Aloysious and Genevieve Graczyk in Bay City. On October 7, 1950, Arlene married Ernest J. Rubis and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka Church). Arlene loved her bingo and playing the lottery. Arlene was preceded in death by her husband Ernest and brother Jim Graczyk. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish (St. Stanislaus Kostka Church), 1503 Kosciuszko Avenue in Bay City. Arlene will lie in state at the church on Wednesday after 9:00 AM.

Rev. Fr. Richard M. Filary will preside with Rite of Committal in St. Stanislaus Kostka Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to American Diabetes Association. Visiting hours are Tuesday, November 13, 2018 from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel. A special heartfelt thank you goes out to the staff at Bay County Medical Care Facility, especially 1-West, for the love, laughter and excellent care that they gave to our mom over the years.
