Kennebunk, Maine – Arthur J. “Duffy” Dauphinais, 89, of Kennebunk, Maine, formerly of Leominster, died September 22, 2018, in St. Andre’s Health Care, Biddeford, Maine. He was born in Fitchburg, MA, September 4, 1929, son of the late Alfred and Diana (Bedard) Dauphinais. He served in the US Army from 1951-1953 during the Korean War, attaining the rank of Corporal.

Mr. Dauphinais worked for Digital Equipment Co., as a warehouse shipper and forklift driver. He was a member of St. Cecilia’s Parish, Leominster. Arthur is survived by two daughters; Carol Schiavone and her husband Arthur of Kennebunk, Maine and Donna Dauphinais of Syracuse, NY, two grandchildren; Brian Colecchi and Matthew Dauphinais and his wife Debby, along with two great grandchildren; Natalie and Parker Dauphinais.

He was predeceased by his wife of 64 years, Florence M. (Babineau) Dauphinais, on April 12, 2018 and his sister Anita Paquette. Arthur’s funeral will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, from Wright-Roy Funeral Home, Inc., 109 West St., Leominster, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Cecilia’s Church, 168 Mechanic Street, Leominster. Burial will follow in St. Cecilia’s Cemetery.

A Calling hour will be held Tuesday morning, October 2nd, from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m., in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations in Arthur’s memory may be made to: St. Andre’s Health Care, 407 Pool St., Biddeford, Maine 04005-9716.
