Obituary for Arthur Ray Shepherd Arthur Ray Shepherd born April 7th, 1934 in Springville, Utah, passed away September 4, 2018, in American Fork, Utah. He was preceded in death by both parents Arthur Lewis Shepherd, and Vera Hone Shepherd. He was married to his sweetheart Marie Young on July 1st 1953.

He graduated from Lincoln High School in Orem and worked at Geneva Steel Plant for 30 years. He also worked at intermountain Galvanizing. Ray loved his family, archery, hunting, and fishing.

He is in the Utah Bowman’s Association Hall of Fame. He was always helping and serving others. He enjoyed the great outdoors.

He and his sweetheart, Marie, served in the Deseret Land and Livestock mission in Northern Utah. He is also survived by his children; Judy (Robert) Schow, Glen (Valerie) Shepherd, Randy (Michelle) Shepherd, Brent (Julie) Shepherd, Shellie (Kevin) Peay, Denise (Chris) Bodnar. He has 24 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren.

Also by his loving brothers and sisters: Wayne and Marsha Shepherd, Gordon and Bonnie Jepperson, Charles and Myra Shepherd, Gary and Barbara Shepherd, Ron and Sandra Critchfield, and Earl and Jennett Shepherd. Funeral will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Wallsburg Church Building, 494 West, Main Canyon Road, Wallsburg, Utah. Family and friends may attend a viewing Friday evening from 6-8 pm also at the Wallsburg Chapel or Saturday morning from 9:00 -10:30 am prior to services.

Interment will be in the Wallsburg City Cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at Heber Valley Funeral Home. His family would like to extend thanks to the personnel at Stonehenge in American Fork.
