Obituary for Carole Kalinoski Watkins Carole Kalinoski Watkins, age 78, of Heber City, UT, passed away on September 25, 2018. She was born in Mingo Junction, Ohio, on November 23, 1939, the first of two children, to Atelina Eatman and Stanley Kalinoski. She spent her early years in Mingo Junction, OH and moved to Ontario, CA at the age 10.

Carole graduated from Chaffey Union High School in Ontario, CA in 1957, after high school she went to San Jose State University before joining the Foreign Service in 1961. She served overseas in Peru for 2 years, returning to Alexandria, VA where she met her future husband, Harry Watkins. After spending many years moving around the country, Carole and Harry finally settled in Heber City, UT in 2016, where they have been living happily, near their kids, at The Abbington, an assisted living facility.

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Harry Richard Watkins; her sister, Christine Kalinoski Harrison (Given) of Carlsbad, CA; son, Richard Watkins (Audrey) of Park City, UT, and daughter, Wendy Watkins Bartholomew (Philip) of Heber City, UT, as well as five grandchildren. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Nuzzles & Co of Park City, UT in honor of Carole and her best pug friend Molly. A family gathering will be held at a later date.
