Obituary for Arvin J. Sellers Arvin J. Sellers, age 79 of Loogootee, Indiana passed away at 12:15 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2018, at St. Charles Health Campus in Jasper. He was born at Evansville, Indiana on March 7, 1939 to Paul D. and Madeline (Apler) Sellers. He married Ruth Ann Braun on January 29, 1965 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Montgomery, Indiana.

Arvin served in the Indiana National Guard and retired from Construction Local Union #561, Evansville, Indiana. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ireland and a former member of St. Martin’s Catholic Church in Whitfield and the National Plott Hound Association for over 50 years. Arvin was an avid Bear and Coon hunter.

Surviving, Wife Ruth Ann Sellers One daughter, Christina Hawkins (James), Hawesville, KY Three sons, John Lincoln Sellers, Loogootee, IN Scott Alan Sellers, Columbus, IN Kelly Sellers, Cannelburg, IN Grandchildren; Audry, Danielle, Briar, Graci and Molli, Willis and Mary. Two brothers, John Sellers (Beverly), Columbus, IN Mike Sellers (Kathy), Indianapolis, IN Two sisters Paulette Quinn (Ray) Martinsville, IN Judeanne Wilson, Santa Clasria, CA Also several step-brothers and sisters. .

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 19, 2018 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ireland. Friends may call from 2-8 Thursday October 18, 2018, at the Becher-Kluesner North Chapel in Jasper. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children Hospital.
