Obituary for Athol Louisa Mitchell LOUISA MITCHELL Athol Louisa Gober Mitchell, 51, of Newnan, wife of James Claud “Jimmy” Mitchell died Sunday, April 21, 2018 at Piedmont Newnan. Born in Atlanta, July 4, 1966, she was a daughter of the late Vernon Wayne Gober and Sally Burt Witt. Mrs. Mitchell was retired from Bank of America beginning her career in Atlanta and retiring from the downtown Newnan location, serving for over thirty years.

She enjoyed many outdoor activities, especially camping, fishing and going to the beach. Surviving in addition to her husband of fifteen years are three daughters, Killian Rose Grina of Newnan, Kayla Mitchell and Kelly Mitchell, both of Zebulon; one grandson, Tanner Hunley of Zebulon; and a brother, Robbie Gober of Newnan. A memorial service will be conducted Sunday, April 29, 2018 at 4:00 PM from the McKoon Funeral Home Chapel, 38 Jackson Street, with Dr. John Riley officiating.
