DAVIS—Mrs. Aurora “Gloria” Davis, age 84 of Orange Park, FL passed away December 13, 2018. Gloria was born September 15, 1934 in San Diego, TX, the daughter of Rafael and Manuela Saenz. Gloria retired from the Clay County School Board following many years of dedicated service.

She was a life member of the NWCA and the VFW, and also the Ladies Auxiliary of the Fleet Reserve Unit #91. Gloria loved to play Pinochle at the Orange Park Senior Citizens on Monday’s as well as an avid Bingo player. She enjoyed her church home St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Orange Park.

She was married to her beloved husband of over 49 years Charles Owen Davis until his passing in 2011. Gloria is survived by her daughters Wilma Stanley and Rhonda Bowers; her grandchildren Nicole Stanley, Kaylynn Channell Allen (Caleb), Ashlee Channell, KC Channell, and her great grandson Cooper Allen; her siblings Andrea Trejo (Noel), Marta Davila, Leto Saenz, Noel Saenz, and Carlos Saenz. In addition to Charles, Gloria was predeceased by her parents, her sons Michael, Benjamin, and Charles; and her brothers Bob and Bole Saenz.

She will be deeply missed by her many extended family and friends. A Funeral Mass in celebration of her life will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Thursday December20, 2018 at St. Catherine Catholic Church 1649 Kingsley Ave. , Orange Park with Fr.

Ignatius Plathenum Celebrant. In honoring her wishes, memorialization is by cremation. Family members and friends will gather from 10:00 AM until the hour of service at the church on Thursday morning.
