Obituary of Barabara Furmanski Barbara Ann Furmanski Utica Barbara Ann Furmanski, 71, a lifelong area resident passed away on Wednesday October 17, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center. She was born in Utica on August 14, 1947 the daughter of Walter and Mary Banas Furmanski and attended Holy Trinity School and was a graduate of Utica Free Academy. Barbara was employed with Neisners, Doyle Knower stores and Metropolitan Life prior to her retirement.

She was a lifelong parishioner of Holy Trinity Church. Her survivors include her sister and brother-in-law Christine and Ronald Hammersmith of NC and sister-in-law Suzanne Furmanski of Clinton along with several nieces and nephews; Kathy Hammersmith, Sarah and Mark Johnson, Scott Hammersmith, Colleen Furmanski and Michael and Sarah Furmanski. Also included are her great nieces and great nephews, Lily Johnson, Eathan Furmanski and Elenora Furmanski.

She was predeceased by her brother Richard Furmanski. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 22, 2018 at Holy Trinity Church. Those who wish may call on Sunday (today) from 3 – 5 p.m. at the Kowalczyk Funeral Home, 1156 Lincoln Ave.

, Utica. Entombment will take place in Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum at Holy Trinity Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Holy Trinity Church 1206 Lincoln Avenue Utica, NY 13502.
