Barbara A Simoes Pineault , March 08, 1936 — November 02, 2018

Barbara Ann Pineault, age 82, died peacefully, surrounded by her beloved family, on Friday, November 2, 2018, at the Riverview Healthcare Community in Coventry, RI. She was born in Fall River, MA, to the late Leo and Eunice Simoes, on March 8, 1936. She is survived by her husband Normand R. Pineault.

They were married for 63 years, but their love story spanned more than 65. Barbara was the mother of Donna Martin of Fall River, MA; Valerie Mooney and her husband Frank Mooney of Hope, RI; and the late Gregory Pineault. She was the grandmother of Dennis, Christopher, Justine, Jessica, Jason, and Jillian; and the great grandmother of Devyn, Caleb, Jaylee, Aubrey, and Benjamin.

The family wishes to thank all those who cared for Barbara during her last days. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church in Assonet, MA, at 10:00 on the morning of Thursday, November 8. She will be interred at the Veteran’s National Cemetery in Bourne, MA, at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to: Hope Alzheimer’s Center, 25 Brayton Ave.
