OBITUARY Barbara Alford Evans September 9, 1954 – October 29, 2018 Barbara Evans, age 64, passed away on October 29, 2018 at the Sikeston Convalescent Center in Sikeston, MO. Born September 9, 1954, in Sikeston, MO. , to the late Thomas and Viola McIntyre Alford.

On July 6, 1973 in Sikeston, MO. , she married Frank Evans, who preceded her in death on March 21, 2013. She enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and her dog Baxter.

Other survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Melinda and Robert Simpson of O’Fallon, IL. ; two sisters and two brother-in-laws, Mary and Alden Crone of Morley, MO. , and Linda and Jim Ellison of Sikeston, MO.

; four grandchildren, Ryan Harris of O’Fallon IL. , Bobby Simpson of O’Fallon, IL. , Christopher Simpson of Edwardsville, IL.

, and Julia Simpson of O’Fallon, IL. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Thomas “Jinks” Alford. A celebration of life will be Friday November 2, 2018 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Matthews Community building in Matthews, MO.
