Barbara Ann McCabe November 22, 1939 – May 26, 2019 Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| View Guestbook Entries| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Barbara Ann McMichael McCabe of Ellington, Missouri, passed away on May 26, 2019 in Ellington, at the age of 79 years. She was born on November 22, 1939 at Temperance, Michigan. Barbara is the daughter of Clement and Lucille McMichael.

Barbara was united in marriage to Kenneth Hoyt McCabe on December 14, 1959. To this union four children were born. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Hoyt McCabe, her parents, Clement and Lucille McMichael, two granddaughters, Angelica Lynn Gromer and Tamra “Tammy” Lynette McCormick.

Barbara is survived by two sons, Kenneth Wayne McCabe and Cam, Sam McCabe and wife Angela and two daughters, Karen Denise Cook and husband Mike, all of Ellington, Missouri, Karma Diane Blunkall and husband Duck of Winona, Missouri, two brothers, Ralph McMichael of Ida, Michigan, and Charles McMichael of Arizona and one sister, Diane Shrout of Lewisburg, Ohio, nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter. Barbara worked at Baker Brother’s, Empire Gas and Sun Security Bank. She loved to spend time with her family.

Barb loved to sew and made many quilts for her family and friends. She was always volunteering her time to her church. She had a very big heart and would help anyone that needed help if she was able.

Barbara will be missed by all of her family and many friends who will mourn her passing.
