Barbara Carter, 68, of Paragould, passed away Friday, September 21, 2018, at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born August 24, 1950, in Jonesboro, to Burrell and Forbie Rogers. Barbara was a homemaker that thoroughly enjoyed caring for her family, especially babies.

She was a Christian woman and attended Transformed Church of God. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bobby Rogers, Billy Rogers, Jimmy Rogers, Tommy Rogers, Wayne Rogers, Danny Rogers, Donald Rogers, and Jerry Wayne Rogers; and sister, Phyllis Ann Rogers. Survivors include her sons, David Johnston and his wife, Tammy, Kevin Johnston, Keith Johnston, and Troy Johnston, all of Paragould; brother, Burrell Rogers, Jr.; grandchildren, Hannah, Timmy, Mariah, Adam, Gage, Jacob, Abbi, and Makenna; great grandchildren, Lexi, Jonathan, Jerimiah, Bricelen, Braydyn, and Jasmine.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 25, from 2:00p.m. until service time at Pine Log Cemetery. The graveside service will begin at 3:00 p.m. with Rob McIlwain officiating.
