Barbara’s Obituary Barbara Ann Ruth Jackson, 71, passed away March 12, 2019. She was born in Reading, PA the daughter of the late Robert F. Ruth and Dorothy Lee Jolly Hertzog. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Kennedy Jackson.

Barbara was a United States Navy veteran having served active duty for 12 years. She later went on to work and retire after 28 years as a civil service program specialist. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church.

Barbara is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Steve Tablone; brother and sisters-in-law, William and Kathy Richard, John and Karen Hertzog; step daughter, Julie Jackson; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her loving caretakers and adopted family, Mike and Kim Lowers and their two daughters, Courtney and Morgan, Ben and Darlene Bagley and her daughter, Lindsay and son, Jacob, and Lisa Rawls. A family memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 with Rev.

Stephen Arrington officiating. Inurnment will be at Albert G. Horton, Jr. Memorial Veterans Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Southside Baptist Church Building Fund.
