Our loving mother and grandmother, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018. Age 78 years. Barbara was born on September 28, 1939, daughter of the late Ethel Faerber and Harry Backhus, in Glasgow, Montana.

She married Donald Bartlett on September 12, 1959. He predeceased her on April 30, 2016. After thirty years of service, she retired from AT&T.

Before moving to Cheboygan, she was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. Barbara enjoyed sewing, quilting, collecting angels, Dachshund dogs and playing cards with her lifelong friends. She was very organized and in charge!

She loved the holidays, decorating, cooking and being with family. Barbara will be missed by her children, Lori (Mark) Jacobs and Timothy (Amy) Bartlett; grandchildren, Sarah Seaver, Justin Jacobs and Brooke Bartlett; one great grandson, Gavin Seaver; also many nieces, nephews other relatives and very special friends. She was predeceased by her brothers, Dennis and Freddie Backhus.

A memorial service honoring the reunion of Barbara and Donald Bartlett at 12:00 Noon, on Sunday, September 16, 2018, at W. L. Case and Company, 4480 Mackinaw Road. Fr. Jack Johnson will officiate.
