Went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at her home with her family by her side. She was 80 years old. Lorene was born on February 5, 1938 in Saginaw, Michigan to the late Raymond and Josephine (Hart) Kelly.

She married the love of her life, Earl Frederick on August 25, 1956, who survives her. They recently celebrated their 62nd anniversary. Lorene had an unwavering faith in God.

She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church. After Earl’s retirement, they enjoyed traveling and seeing the country in their 5th wheel trailer. For the last 10 years, they could be found wintering in sunny Florida.

Lorene loved to read, sew, crochet and watch her daily soap operas. Her love of flowers was evident as soon as you walked in her door. Lorene dearly loved her family and spending time with them.

Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Earl, and three daughters and two sons: Tina (David) Young, Tammy (Dave) Laza, Tracy (Mike) Gannotti, Earl (Bud) Frederick Jr. and Gary Frederick; 13 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; her sister Penny (Ken) O’Connor, brother Dan (Pat) Kelly, sister-in-laws Kathy Kelly, Leah Moreau and brother-in-law Del Moreau, and many nieces, nephews and life long friends. She is predeceased by her brother Raymond Kelly Jr. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated for Lorene at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at Christ the Good Shepherd Parish, St. Helen Catholic Church, 2445 N. Charles St, Saginaw, MI. Rev.

Fr. William J. Ruthkowski will officiate with burial at St. Andrew Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday, from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the W.L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd.

, where friends will gather for a vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Friends may also visit at the church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral liturgy.
