Reetz, Theodore “Ted” Saginaw, Michigan Went to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at the age of 89 years. The son of the late Curt and Elizabeth (Roggow) Reetz was born on September 19, 1929 in Saginaw. He graduated from Saginaw High School.

He married his beloved wife Helen Koehler on January 31, 1951; she predeceased him on June 17, 1993. Ted retired from the State of Michigan, Department of Agriculture as an inspector. He loved to travel, watching the Tall Ships across Michigan, and animals, especially horses and enjoyed going to and working at flea markets, playing BINGO and loved to spend time with his family.

Surviving are his daughter, Debra C. (Butch) Reetz, grandson Steven (Carie) Metevia, and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends all of whom he kept in close contact and loved very much. Besides his wife and parents, Ted was predeceased by his siblings: Clarence (Helen) Reetz, Curt (Lee) Reetz, Arlene (Carl) Fiting, Lucille Schneider, and his special friend and companion, Millie Barko. Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 15, 2018 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss St. Rev.

Michael Korte will officiate with burial at Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family at the W. L. Case and Company Funeral Chapel, 4480 Mackinaw Rd. on Sunday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and at church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service.
