Our loving father and grandfather, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 6, 2018. Age 92 years. Lee was born on November 30, 1925, son of the late Hans and Mable (Kull) Albrecht, in Saginaw.

He married the love of his life, Donna Murray on July 21, 1945. She predeceased him on November 17, 2016. He served in the U. S. Navy during World War II.

He retired from Dixie Tool after many years of service. Lee was a member of Bridgeport Community Church and the Christianity Board, served as Deacon and a Bell Ringer. He was also a member of the Young People’s Youth Group.

Lee enjoyed golfing, bowling, traveling, chair caning and spending time at the cottage that he built himself. Lee will be missed by his children, Suzanne (Ray) Schell, Linda Bishop, Annette (Larry) Kirkpatrick, Vicki (Daniel) Apperson and Lee (Linda) Albrecht, Jr.; 26 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; also many other special relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his son-in-law, Bob Bishop, his brother-in-law, Albert Murray and sister-in-law, Frances Scanlon.

Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Monday October 15, 2018, at Bridgeport Community Church, 3821 State St. in Bridgeport. Pastor Ron Sinclair will officiate with burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Friends may visit the family on Sunday, October 14, 2018 from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m. at W. L. Case and Company, 5700 Dixie Highway and at the church on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
